I know at one time 3 resin casters were doing 30 - 31 pick-ups. Is anyone left doing one that you know of? I've been seeing some neat rods of them lately. Thanks.

R&D did one years ago (mid '90's ?) but I think they are out of business. I've been seeing a few more '30/1 Model A pickup models popping up too- many of them appear to be the 1:16 Minicraft kit.

Cool! At least that's one source if a person is doing hot rods. Thanks Carl.
You're right Chuck. R&D was one of them and I'm sure one was All American. I can't remember the third one. When I meant I had been seeing some neat rods I had meant 1:1 in magazines but I forgot some would be showing up as models because of the minicraft kits.
Thanks for the answers guys.

I just picked up the R&D kit this week marked down to $25 from $70. I'd only seen that kit once before and it was at least a decade ago. Al's Hobbies in Elmhurst IL. is closing out their aftermarket items. I also got several sets of Herb Deeks Halibrands and Supremes for $2 a set. The Flintstone body is nice, only $10.

Wow! Good find Dan. Same with the Herb Deeks wheels at 2 bucks a pop.

I have one of the "stock"versions of the R&D kit, & if you're of the persuasion I also have their stage III chassis kit I was going to use under it. If you want it get in touch with me & "make me an offer I can't refuse"
