The custom front end in this issue is unchromed, a one piece recessed tube-style grille w/ a custom roll pan where the bumper would be w/ two small slots on the right and left side of the pan. Also has an optional sun roof, rear louvers, chrome side pipes and plastic side sills w/ exhaust cut outs..not sure if there are any other A-Team parts included--the turbine wheels and GMC grille aren't here.
Sounds like the regular custom front end peice that was in all the custom Chevys. Where the difference came in was the headlights and grille inserts that came in the various versions. For example, the "Foxy Box" had round headlights and big "CHEVY" letters to add to the grille where the "X-tasy" version had quad square headlights and a big bow tie emblem. I don't remember what the "Sun Runner" had but it may have been just the single part with no add-ons .
ANYWAY ,, anyone care to post any pics of what's actually in the box?
[After looking at some catalogue pics , I see the X-tasy and Foxy Box vans both had big bow tie emblems in the grille, although they look slightly different.
