You may have seen this one before. I did this one about three years ago.
I used a "scrap yard" Johan body and a Polar Lights chassis. The decals were custom made for me. Paint is MCW "Go Mango".

That looks great. The decals look good. I just wish I had a "scrap yard" body like that.

I bought the body for a couple of bucks from someone's scrap box. You know what they say: "One man's junk is another man's gold" or something like that!

I really like your RR. Nice work and it looks accurate too. It's nice to see someone doing actual replicas of the old Funny cars rather than facsimiles of them. 8)

Excellent job there, it looks great! I really have a soft spot for older Road Runners, especially '69s, as my dad had two, a 383 and then a Hemi. That really is a rare bird, as there were very few funny car Road Runners. That's really the only one I remember. Very Cool!

Fred Goeske's '69 road runner was the only one that I have ever seen. It was also a National Record holder. Not bad for a "barn door"!
I also have a soft spot for 69 road runners, especially orange ones.
