You may have seen this one before. I did this one about three years ago.
I used a "scrap yard" Johan body and a Polar Lights chassis. The decals were custom made for me. Paint is MCW "Go Mango".

That looks great. The decals look good. I just wish I had a "scrap yard" body like that. :)

I bought the body for a couple of bucks from someone's scrap box. You know what they say: "One man's junk is another man's gold" or something like that!

I really like your RR. Nice work and it looks accurate too. It's nice to see someone doing actual replicas of the old Funny cars rather than facsimiles of them. :) 8)

Excellent job there, it looks great! I really have a soft spot for older Road Runners, especially '69s, as my dad had two, a 383 and then a Hemi. That really is a rare bird, as there were very few funny car Road Runners. That's really the only one I remember. Very Cool!

Thank you!
Fred Goeske's '69 road runner was the only one that I have ever seen. It was also a National Record holder. Not bad for a "barn door"!
I also have a soft spot for 69 road runners, especially orange ones.
