Here is my entry. I am using an old AMT Canepa Kenworth model for the base and also will have a trailer to pull behind it as soon as I dig through my storage to find it. I am either gonna go with a mobile lab some scientist are using to reverse the zombie virus or a just a group of survivors living out of the truck and killing zombies along the way. I have just started it and my zombie loving 7 year old son will be helping along the way. I will post updates as I can but I work quite a bit so my progress may be slower then some.

So, I was thinking.

Just out of randomness, and the fact that it would coincide with my career-

Instead of a pest control truck or van, I could make a zombie control truck or van. Same basic concept of pest control, but with bullets and flamethrowers rather than bait and insecticide....

...I thought it was funny. :P

I like it. I picture a van with equipment in the back. Sorta like a S.W.A.T. truck, but with more zombie effective weaponry.

Here are some photos of my project Viper for this build. Just a little back story to set the tone. A simple average man watches as his family first contracts an unknown disease, succombs to this and dies. Then endures the horror of watching them turn and ultimately having to kill them. He has become empty, dark inside. He has but one goal, kill every last zombie he encounters and ultimately find the persons responsible for creating this horrible virus and......KILL THEM

Well heres project viper. Base kit is Revells Viper SRT10. Ive removed the trunk lid, windshield frame and cowl. I then covered the passenger area and cowl area with one section of 1 mm thick styrene. The forward portion of the trunk area is the same. The drivers comparment was created out of 2 mm square stock then covered in 1 mm styrene. The turret is a 1/35 scale item left over from an M60 tank, as are the drive unit on the passenger door, power unit in the trunk. The gas tank is made from two M113 gas tanks. Im not sure of what gun I will mount yet. Thinking of a triple barrel gatling gun. Everything is simply mocked up for now. So here are the photos.

Looks great! Can we get a top view? I am curious how the sizes of the extra styrene compare with your corvette. I will be needing to buy some myself soon and want to have a better visual comparison of the sizes. Thanks.

Thank you, they were done late one night with some sprue, candle and a pencil sharpener. I was just experimenting to see what I could come up with. I hope to make some progress this weekend and post some more pics.

Then I guess I don't need to ask you if you used a pencil sharpener!

I did some work on the Puma tonight, more specifically it's mounted rail gun. The ammo box is just tacked on there temporarily to show you how it all fits together. There are a few more details to add, but this is the jist of it. This will be remotely operated from the co-pilots computer console which will be visible in the cockpit.

A couple things I'm finding tough about building somrething pretty much from scratch is building the components that I need multiples of like upper and lower a-arms. Also I'm really looking forward to painting this so in my head I'm like, "Looks great, lets go paint it! :D Wait........there are more pieces to be made and test fitted 1000 times before we can paint anything." :(

So I've been watching this threat closely... and decided to join. Actualy, thanks to this topic, I have 3 new models on my shelf. Starting my own little collection of zombie patrol vehichles.
I want to build a scene to display the cars with, and I need people to complete it.
Anyone know where I can get 1/24th or 1/25th scale figures?

ose with question marks next to your names, you have posted to this thread but have not made it clear if you ar joining or not. I have only posted select pieces of what people have said they will work on when they started or have let me know after I made this list, and have not really gone through and updated what you guys are actually working on. I counted 123, including the names with question marks.

If you guys email me what your building and the name of it, I will keep an updated list of who is working on what that I can post each week or two. Email me your name as it appears in my list or if you are not on the list and want to be (and if you are on the list and aren't participating), let me know at Uberdeath322@gmail.com (this is not the Doc's email). Any other info you want included in the list, let me know.

I'm kind of on stand-still at the moment... so no worries just yet :P

I will, however, be back on in full steam once I get paid again in a month. Doesn't mean I can't finish up the ones I need to finish... lol.

Also, Curt Lee,(my dad) has two submissions. He just hasn't posted them because they're collaboration builds and I've posted them in progress a little bit ago. They haven't gotten names yet though.
