It's great to see these snappers, but one thing I did notice is why Revell molded the stock exhaust on the Mustang and used the side pipes for the Camaro
and GTO...

Now I just wish Revell would do this Malibu in 1:25 scale ! ! !

Funny, but in addition to the few hundred kits on my "pile" I'd gladly add a few of Revell's old snaps ('57 Ford, '68 Cougar, '34 Ford panel though maybe that was MPC...) since I cut my teeth on those kits. So gratifying to assemble as a kid with just enough detail. I had several of the '57 Fords since Revell was smart enough to offer new colors every year while they were in production...

I have a few of those Old 57 Fairlanes too
I Finally got one of the 69 Formula Cuda's from that series!!
I have 2 of the Cougar.
one of the red issues of the 57 Chevy is a Fire Chief car.

You are correct the Ford Panel Is MPC
I have a sealed Cop-Rod Paddy wagon version I am not looking at building.
I Am building the Original I bought New. But I am back-dating it to a Stock Police
Paddy Wagon or Amubulance of that era instead of the Hot-rod version the kit builds.
here is a picture showing both the Revell 57 Chevy & MPC Ford sedan Delivery

I've helped build these at my shows make 'n' take event.I hate how easily the pillars snap on these things.

I see Revell has added the 1/32 '69 Camaro, '70 Mach 1 Mustang, '78 'Vette, '34 Ford Coupe, Shelby Cobra, and Lamborghini Countach to their July releases in the last two weeks or so: http://www.revell.com/new.html

the monogram '71 TA, '69 Charger, MidNight Streaker Camaro, EXP, GTO(the '65), '65 Mustang and Mako Shark are not snap kits...some of them are rather simple and don't have much in the way of features and are slightly misproportioned but they're not "snaps".

Other non-snap 1/32 scale kits (not Pyro or Lindberg) are a Barracuda, '69 Nova, Lynx (the Merc version of the EXP).

The AMT "All Stars" line of 1/32 kits has great potential also and they are glue kits also.

Some Aurora 1/32 kits have a lot of potential also but they had a tendency to put 1/25 scale wheels/tires on their 1/32 scale hotrods which requires a little creativity to overcome, I may just be able to produce a 1/32 scale Lil' Coffin out of their 32 sedan (but that comes way after the 71 TA is done and a '40 Ford Tudor sedan which is in the works)

I have posted a '71 TA that is getting major enhancements in the thread "1/32 scale workbench" so you can see that Monogram kit is a great starting point.
