I built the Revell '49 a couple of years ago. It's such a great kit, once you start it you will have all the inspiration you need B)

Here's mine that I built a while back. It was the first car I tried modifying in any way and it was done shortly after my accident, so it's not as nice as I would have liked - I am gonna have to go back and do this one again.

Mine is still on the bench but so am I. AMT, chopped top, top half of grill shell was molded, cast and added to the bottom. An old 50's trick.

Here is my one and only 49 Merc. that I've done. The kit is based on an AMT kit with a Jimmy Flintstone resin body.
