I'm thinking we should just consolidate over at the TZH build. As Eelco says, these builds are practically the same, and that build is so much more active.

Im dropping out of this CBP.
Lost interest in building the Torino,so its back in the box.

That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing the Torino get built.

I don't feel my build fits in at all with the TZH build so I'm going to post it here as long as no one disapproves.


One could say this build doesn't fit here either because its Pre-Apocalyptic as opposed to the Post but, it is Mad Max all the way so Onward and upward.



Now when everyone thinks of the Mad Max cars they always think of the Black Falcon. I decided I'm going to try and make this one into something more like its lesser known and more colorful cousins.

According to the info in one of the posts up above, Mad Max 4 is set in the time between MM1 and MM2, so that would make it pre-apocalypse for at least part of the film.

Mine is looking more like it belongs in MM3.

I think I saw something but not sure where it was that the movie was 2 years out. Of course I'm not sure when that particular interview was made so in a word.... No, I have no clue

Seeing as how this build is looking rather like a cross between the Interceptor and the Bat car, have some pics:

i finally found the kit for the right price its the revell mustang super stallion kit

Thanks for the kind words guys. The body has received 5 cotes of clear and just because this is rather unknown waters to me I'm letting it dry before I touch it again.

Before I clear coted it I had to re-mask and do some touch ups on the yellow on the driver side front fender



I also applied the white stripe between the red and blue colors. I'm happy with the finish





I also painted some of the odds and ends like the rims and the rear panel





I decided to use the generic grill and rear deck panels so that I had the good 73 bits should I decided to go back and try to build the original 73 Eleanor again but this time using the 71 Mustang kit.

It's a bit extreme, isn't it. It does rather raise the standards too. So who will be the first of us to build a giant two-engined two-bodied monster?
