Just got the van, I was thinking that the plastic was different, like the new release with a soft plastic. This one is hard, like old kits... I was kind of disappointed also with all the flashes on the plastic. The chassis had a Revell 1996 copyright...
The tires looks good, I don't like to much the Rally wheels (I would prefer a steel wheels), I don't like also the fender flares, but they are easy to remove. The kit overall looks good and looks fun to build it like the box (two option custom or working) using the decals, that are very nice printed. I like that they give you a few options, like sidepipes, bubble window for the roof, antenna, tape player, CB radio and cup holder, those are pretty nice details.
I hope to start it soon!

I'm not even sure what you'd start with when building that, but I would suggest sheet styrene.

Yeah- sheet styrene for the rear and windsheild panels. I'm sick of scratchbuilding every flippin' thing on my builds.
