Look closely at the photos. The car is literally jacked up with portable jacks. My guess would be to keep the weight and stress off the suspension while the car is displayed.

The jacks ...lol ... Ok , I'm done laughing . This is a clue on how it rode . Like a Jeep . "Rock Steady" describes the ride . Not only a Rock Song . Also , possibly a boobie trap . Get too close and they gotcha , as the car falls on you . Remember ..no touching ! Thanx ..Pre Monster truck days.....Early body lift......
