Hi.....Jairus..this is my first version of a Book Diorama. There must be more ideas , if anyone has made a Book Diorama , let us know. What most I like about it , is that its great for traveling. Its made of black foam board and covered with leather like material....hope you like it... http://s123.photobuc...85/100_1364.jpg http://s123.photobuc...85/100_1367.jpg http://s123.photobuc...85/100_1366.jpg http://s123.photobuc...85/100_1363.jpg http://s123.photobuc...85/100_1356.jpg see the photos in this order..1364 , 1367 , 1366 , 1363 , 1356.......Barbo

Hi....outlaw035..I used the backdrop Instant Buildings by Walthers, item number 949-722 Back Street Structures. They also have the Old West Frontier, Industrial District , and Main Street Stores, all of cardboard. None of them are in a specific scale , backdrops are not intended to be in scale , they were first created by museum modelers to produce imaginary distance in small spaces with the method of PERSPECTIVE DIORAMA . Then, model railroad builders began the use of this method for there layouts. The best model railroad layouts that I have visited in U.S.A. are in attics , they have full wall backdrops. So , I hope you can use this method for your future models,,,,,Have Fun...Barbo.

Barbo,
Great way to display your builds. Very Nice and easy to transport. I'll bet these are easy to carry onto planes when you travel.
