JamesDe, the 70 came out real good.

Mark, your builds paint work just keeps getting more impressive each time you post an update,excellent tape work on the celtic knot.


Im still waiting to get some paint for the 65 Impala,but in the mean time ive been practicing and doing test piece's of patterns.

Nice work, and good results.

Went with a Bomb for my next build..after the 76 Caprice.
Made new skirts ..flush to the body and curved the bottoms
to follow the rear fender. Scalloped the rear lite pods.
But the most work has been on creating a "Phantom Wagon"
out of a panel. The kit is Revell Speed Shop Express Chevy Sedan
Delivery.Going for a Rootbeer and white two tone paint.
Not going the "Traditional" route..hitting it with a capital "K" for KUSTOM.

So in the meantime I have been working on this (its Lowrider related just not being built for this topic)
Just practicing doing patterns and using an airbrush to apply paint,in preperation for another build I plan to do for this C.B

Hey Luke i think you got the hang of that airbrush pretty quick.... man that design is awesome .... ....Not criticizing in any way, but id love to see this all in colour......Im smoothin out the Monte Carlo bodywork at the mo, then Im going to try something Crazy for the paintjob... , .you do great paint mate, wish i was half as good as this.... .....Lowlife ! !

I did alot of research and watched many youtube videos before I attempted using the airbrush.Which helped big time.
Yeah the whole body is getting done,Im currently working on the sides,should be done in a few days.

Just a suggestion before you do some tape and paint work on the Monte,find some spare bonnets/hoods and have some practice on them first.

alright, here's an update.

the trunk mural is going to be the evil leprechaun.

this is only a progress photo.

i need to touch up on the hat and get it perfected. once i get the hat done, i'll slowly work in the building up of the hands and shoulder areas. once it's final then i'll start foiling and clear coat.

i also did another coat for the bottom of the hood to tie it all together.

the paint may look a little bumpy but after clear it'll be smooth as glass.
