Very nice, Luke. Great, clean and smooth work as usual. Love all your vehicles in black. It's a trade mark. You are the Johnny Cash of model builders!

Here is where I'm at...
picked up a neat set of wire wheels at a recent show.
Worked on the front seat head rest and deepened the seat
separations to give it some more definition.
Also finished the Chevy heartbeat.
Next thing is a silver basecoat ..let it sit for 2 days.
Working on the interior while the body sits for a while.

Great work so far guys!

I want to start over on my hinges. The wobble of the doors is a bit much because the tubes are too big for the wire.

Small hiccup but fixable.

Good to see your progressing with your builds James and Mark.

Im currently at a stand still on the Belair, im patiently waiting for a delivery of some flat clear which should be on my doorstep next week some time.

All I have left is to do is finish the interior, all parts have been painted but some of the parts need a coat of the flat clear. Then Its just a matter of doing detail work and final assembly.

So while im waiting I decided to get started on another build.Hope its ok to build more than 1 Mark.

Lowriders are my interest lately so im liking this thread topic very much.

Revell 65 Chevelle.
After some modifications to the rear chassis and cutting the coils, the ride height was set.
Rough mock up.

Luke, that looks amazing so far. Great to see Lowriders being built from different subjects. Is that going to be also gloss black? That color have been looking very good on your latest builds.

It would be a lot of fun to build one, but I don't have any good basis for the build right now.

Thanks Niko,
I got the idea/inspiration of doing a Chevelle as a Lowrider from G.Seeds.
As for the colour, yep it will get the usual gloss black.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting Zac.

The Caprice is looking super nice James.
Look foward to seeing what subject you choose for a bomb and watch it being built too.

looking good James. Hard to tell from the pics but did you do the white vinyl in the side trim strip? kinda looks like it, nice!. BTW,, the whole windshield pillar is covered with the trim on those full size GM cars back then , no paint showing. Looks really good though.
