I'm guessing you guys are referring to the MAGNETO under the front of the blower...call me crazy but how would you wire it?

at any rate I got all the chrome stripped today and got most of the body work done and in primer once it cures fully gonna hit it with 800 wet and then color it a yellow-orange metallic type color (using candy so I'm shooting for for the yellow side of the color but it could vary) and then make a decision on flat or gloss clear depending on how the color turns out.

anyway primed body teasers for now...hope to have more progress to show later tonight



missed a bit of flash around the trunk trim gonna fix it before paint.



until later keep carving and remember it's all about fun

What is the time window on this? Traditional rods are pretty much all I build, but I'd like to earmark a project just for this CBP. I always have something on the bench that fits the rules...

BTW the Rolling Bones 5-window is real sharp!

i'm no fan of box chrome but you build as a whole looks wonderful...i just don't feel that box chrome is accurate, i prefer alclad so my only complaint would be the chrome

not much done on the T today as I worked on building this nifty new paint rack to organize my bench a bit as the XBOX was kinda in the way now maybe I'll get a little more organized.

well though it's small it's a big update for me! got the paint on the body...it's not perfect but I'm happy. also sprayed the valve covers





at any rate maybe i can get some more stuff done tomorrow

yea once i finish a few models I'll be scratch building a fifth wheel trailer along with the dually to haul them all

after some heated research and a simple decision i won't be using the blown V8 but rather the carbed version as the blower just doesn't fit right...but maybe some progress in a bit and i think the car setup will look better

plug wires and painted carbs...wasn't happy with the height of the magneto so i shortened it a lot

It looks to be a great kit from what I seen looking through it. I haven't gotten started yet-life jumped up and stomped those 96 hour build plans,and then I just sorta haven't had desire to sit at the bench of late...I'll get on it though,this thread's inspiring me!

Guess,what. I found my 1/25 scale nhra,dragster the blown hemi is going int my next project hopefully. Also found my f 100 1953 single peace hood and chassis and more parts.

Apart from it needing a good dusting, I'm pretty much done. I wanted a minimalist look to it. Headlights stuff up the look I want, so it isn't getting any.
