and a bit more done: exhaust system was bent and the stock mufflers trimmed off, here is a shot of the pipes in place, i have to touch up the paint and then i will epoxy on the dunstall mufflers i made. you can tell the muffs are going to be at a pretty great angle to the rear tire, up and out like my norton used to be.

and here is the fairing, nearing completion. windscreen is white glued onto one side at the moment, when i am happy with how it looks i will sneak some epoxy into the seam and seal it up...to one side only as the fairing has to clamshell over the frame and fork. but from this mockup i can see its fitting on the fairing pretty nice. i had to heat the windscreen up in warm water and narrow it a bit to get it to look nice but that was pretty successful i would say:

well have been distracted by other life events but still have managed to slowly get close to completion. this thing is very fragile and fiddly if you cant tell from the photos. pretty much done with the bike itself, just need to hook up front brake cable, let the side covers dry in place and slip on the seat and tank which fit right on (famous last words). i had to redo some things about the fairing, including moving one magnet set to allow the headlamp (left off in the race version in the instrux) to be on with the fairing in place so that remains undone. heres some pics...coming along pretty nicely...

dunstall mufflers are looking much better than i could have imagined:

edit: ps: just looked at that tank side and the messy black for the knee pad...cleaned it up considerably!

alright, happy to report i am putting this one to bed! was fun and no real complications i didnt introduce myself, i might want to build another and cement the fairing shell together because mine doesnt fit that great but i just created distractions to take ones eye off it! kool little kit and here it is with the original ford pickup and box:
