Started on the front suspension......
I slipped a piece of aluminum tubing ( for strength) inside some plastic tubing for the front axle.

Posted Image

Laminated & clamped some scrap plastic together with M.E.K to form a rough spindle mount.

Here's a pic of one of the axle ends filed down & primed with the roughed out other side for comparison.

I guess it's time to fab some spindles & disc brake rotors........

Dang.......I'm glad I only have to do 2 of these rotors (they're metal), still have more holes to drill, add studs for the rims and a lot of clean up - polishing to do on 'em.

Don, every progress picture has bought a big smile to my face, this build is stunning, innovative, imaginative  and quality plus mate. This what modeling is all about in my opinion, fun, fun and more fun.

Marshall, I haven't had a lot of time to tinker with this car lately, but there will be an update as soon as I get the body in paint (day glow yellow) & the lettering done on the rear meats.

Aw come on, Don.  Just tell 'em that you never finish a build.  LOL.  And my truck could use a washing, too.
