Got this kit the other day trying to find some info on th car.

does anyone know what year this kit represents ?I'm thinking 76 but not for sure. Figure there's someone here thats decently familiar with them .

My first thought when i saw it was "76 but not sure.....Cool Subject..

That could be anything from a 73 to a 78

its a 78 only year with that grill.

The Capri II was sold in the US during the 1976-1/2 to 1978 model years. Capri I ran until 1974, and the Capri II was replaced in the US by the Fox body Capri about 1979.

That Capri II body style was a '75 in europe, and a '76 in the US. However those bumpers were never used in the US. We got big battering rams, not little chrome things. Those look like bumpers from the '73.

Rick, I just built that exact kit last year for the Cannonball, the grille on it is the optional "custom" piece from the kit. From what I was able to figure out from the kit box, instructions, and decal sheet I believe it was a 1975 Capri II. Its a very nice kit considering its age, stands up well compaired to modern kits.
