I would suggest the Revell parts packs for some nice and period correct engines that were released a decade or so ago. They are plentiful for reasonable prices.
I agree with Dale, the parts pack parts are amazing in terms of possibilities.

Where the heck is Yulee, FL? It doesn't show up on my Atlas. I'm in Citrus County near Dummellon and Ocala.
It's just a few miles north of Jacksonville.

I <3 the revell parts pack engines, The can be found on evil bay, in packs of four for 9.95 plus free shipping from "rthesz" I've purchased numerous parts packs motors from them, They even include a handwritten note with each sale.
I have ordered many from them as well. Very nice touch to include a handwritten thank-you note.

The '34 Ford Pickup kit has a chromed T'Bird engine...
Yep, the vintage AMT kit came with a REAL nice tri-powered y-block fully chromed out. I'm not sure if the Lindberg version of this kit still comes with it.
