that's a cool project. just make sure you don't put it back in the box so we can get to see it finished. B)


I think it's on track now, last time the roof sunk in after the putty work and was unrepairable. That was depressing.

The more I look, the more I believe those beautifully shaped rear fenders belong here than on the mixed up mess they came off of. :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'm a lot happier with the profile now that I shortened the rear fenders. I feel that it has a more balanced look. Next I need to find a front valance that compliments the look of the Merc. Instead of a cruiser sled I think the car has more of a pro touring muscle car feel. What do you guys think?

Found a front valance! I wanted a modern big mouth look to the grille. This came fron the Dodge Sidewinder pick-up concept.

The new valance needs work. I'm going to give the top edge a lip and fill in that awkword relief on the bottom.
