Nice compilation. I really like these posts showing the history of these old, reused kits. I remember some of them. Those Desert Dog tires actually fit this 1/20 scale kit - they were tossed into a few 1/24 kits as well and the wheels always looked too big.
I always wondered why the tires and wheels in the MPC "Mount 'n' Goat" Jeep Commando (and later versions) were so oversized!:

I think the Fall Guy Chevy truck and a Dodge D-50 had them - probably others.
Edit - I actually think the d50 had a smaller set of desert dogs.

Someone should repop one of these. Any scale, so long as the body is stock.
BTW shouldn't it be '69-'74 fords? '68 Econoline is like a '83 corvette.

The kits I have and there kit numbers are as follows:
1-3061 Supervan
1-3062 Visible Van
1-3063 Highjacker
1-3064 Slammer van
1-3065 Shock Treatment
1-3066 Wizard
1-3012 Ironside van
3370 '70 Chateau club wagon
1-3371 '71 Econoline
1-7331 Ford Van
1-7431 '74 Ford van
There's also two box art's I've seen for the Visible van but I only have one so far in my stash, all up I've got over 60 different van/sedan delivery kits (excluding resin bodies, add about another 12 or so).
Some of the hardest things I've encounted collecting van kits is no one has ever done a complete list of all the van kits built (a checklist would be handy!) and the major hurdle is so many ebay sellers will only post to the United States, most of the ones I've contacted usually agree to post to me but there's still a few that simply refuse. There's plenty of money to be made posting to Australia!
Cheers Rob
