Hi, Does anyone remember the heavy chevy drag team model kit. It was a 71 or 72 ramp truck with a chevelle on the back. it was black and the logo was Heavy Chevy. My dad & I built it in the 70's and I am looking for a picture of it.I do not remember who manufactured it.

The only ramp truck I recall is MPC's "racers wedge". I dont think it was ever black or had a Chevelle on the back. And I dont remember any "Heavy Chevy" decals until the re release of the AMT 69 Camaro funny car. Is this the truck you're thinking of?

Wasn't this the same van and trailer included with the Penske Matador?

If I remember correctly, AMT made a Ford Louisville with a car hauler ramp bed ith generic black stripes as a stand alone kit. I have one in the Budweiser Drag Team with the Mustang II funny car but I don't remember any other combos using that truck
