Custom 1948 Ford Convertible

This build combines optional custom parts from the recently issued coupe with the older pro-modeller convertible.

The fadeaway fenders, custom Olds grill and surround were added to the convertible body, along with the rear fender skirts. The body received a chopped windshield and Carson top which are options in the pro-modeller kit.

Paint is Tamiya rattlecan, Sky Blue Anodised Aluminium from the PS range, sprayed over a gloss black base. Interior/hoood are Pearl White, wheels/tyres are from the coupe kit.

Sweet 48 Ford custom! Really like the colour choice. It's different than what you usually see on these.

I've got to agree with "Doc Cranky". This is one classy looking Ford. Using the black as a base makes a big difference in this color. Looks good.
