Soon we should go in NV to check all those casinos...

Seriously! I used to make it from Coos Bay to Las Vegas in about 12 hours...almost non-stop (gas only)..at night...in my ZR-1. Chunked a few rabbits on the way

To Roseburg, to Shasta, to Suisanville/Reno, to Las Vegas. Very beautiful drive. Watch out for slow Indians if you go down Hwy 50.

You gotta come back and ride the ZIP line under the canopy. If I weere still young and insane I'd give it a go. Much safer than hanging off the top edge of the Stratosphere.



I'm not that young that I'd care to ride thew zip line. Also didn't do the Stratosphere coaster either. I have a little condition called Chickenitus. Also known as acrophobia. I go to a musemnet parks and ride the merry go round. That's enough excitement for me.

i`ve seen that diorama live just 2 days ago. it was in contest in hungarian contest in moson (mosonmagyarovar - moson model show - the biggest and best model contest/show at least in east and middle europe). the vegas theme is interesting topic for me as i got married there and been there twice
but i dont have anything vegas related.

Vegas twice, Reno twice. But the Reno nups were the first and the last....to the same woman.

Learned my lesson.

Vegas is an experience for sure, but some of it needs to not be repeated.

I used to be, but not anymore, the meeting schedule doesn't match my work schedule anymore.

I hear they're about defunct now. My understanding is they meet with a new group called the Las Vegas Car Guys or some such. I see John O every now and then, so I stay in touch.

Edit - Just about any policecar model in the gallery is mine LOL!

Same for me. Nice bunch of guys (and gals), but too hard for me to get out there anymore. Mike Johnson is an old friend, but I don't know if he even makes it anymore, either. Got a big show coming up soon at Railroad Pass, though. Bring a cop car and we'll meet up...maybe.
