While waiting on stuff to dry on another porject I am doing an extreme detailed Hawaiian F/C. What started out as a Revell kit has turned into a scratch built wonder. Chassis while not completed is all scratch built. I will be sourcing a correct 9" Ford rearend for it and all the suspension bits will be scratchbuilt also. (including front axle)
The Hemi block is a highly modified unit from a Revell GTX. The whole front of the block is either scratchbuilt peices or cut from a resin Ross Gibson engine. Even the ribs at the rear of the block were added. This was then casted in resin along with the heads that were unmodified.
I have also cut up a transmission and will have to modify the tail housing to resemble the actual piece.
Sort of a mock up to see how it's gonna fit. In the back ground you see a Revell Charger body I may hack up to correct all the inacuracies with the kit supplied body.
So far the only thing getting used from the kit is the blower casing and the wheel/tires!
