Table Top Nationals 2012 Announcement...

Today we can officially announce the 11th annual Table Top Nationals will be held at the
First Church Of The Nazarene
916 NE 4th Street
Pompano Beach, FL 33060-6416

Saturday October 27th

We have already announced our 3 themes

Build a Moebius Hudson Hornet (Must be based on the Moebius hudson)

Drive or Pilot (Open to all models cars, planes, boats, etc.) Model must have driver or pilot behind the controls.

Humor in modeling (Make us laugh)

This will be our first ever all Viewers choice show.

Later this month we will have the full listings of all of the classes including, the non automotive classes. Sponsor and vendor table costs. so look for that announcement.

I hope to see all you guys from Fast and the other clubs make the trip south, Dr Cranky was here last year and I hope he will be here again this year

Adam, sounds good to me. I kept wondering if the show would take place now in June, but I see you guys moved it to another spot and date. I will put it on the calendar and plan to attend. Best, DC

We look forward to you being there, The construction at the dealership is so far behind there is no way that it will be done in time for us. So the best thing we can do is move the show. The room is bigger, which will provide more vendor space and we have the option to expand to 3 more rooms if needed. The lighting isnt as nice as the dealer but it works. The Flight19 modelfest is also put on at the same location so we know it can be done.

ONE MONTH AWAY!!!!

That's right we are exactly 1 month away from the 11th Annual TableTop Nationals presented by RC Hobbies.net. We hope to see you all at the show October 27th Pompano Beach Florida.

Besides the 35 Viewers choice categories, 3 Theme classes. We have a huge raffle including kits, paints, magazine subscriptions, shirt and much more. Model Car garage and Doctor Cranky along with a number of other vendors will be selling there products.

There will be a Make-N-Take for the kids. There is a limited number of slots for this so sign up early.

The church youth group will be selling food on site, and anyone that was at the flight19 show knows this is very good food very cheap.

With less then a month to go I would like to announce I just did a count on the raffle items, and as it stands right now minus anything else coming in and there maybe a few more. We have over 100 items in the raffle. Everything from kits, books, paint, sheet Styrene, Hats, Shirts, and more. I tried my hardest to get something in this raffle for every type of modeler. So my suggestion is the day of the show buy lots and lots of raffle tickets. You will not be disappointed.

How far from West Palm are you guys ? I'm working that week and looks like a rental car is provided. They did tell me I can't take the car to Daytona...insurance?? But if you are close...I will try to show.

Greg - It's about 40 miles to Pompano. I thought you were in the Ft Myers area when I saw you at the Bonita club meeting last month.

I'm going to have 2 vendor tables at the show and hope everyone within range stops by to say hi. It would be great to put a face with the messages. See you there.
