The main landing gear is made up of metal struts molded into ABS, rubber tires, some PE, even springs for the working oleo struts.

I've been looking at getting one of these kits even tho' they are out of my normal price range . I'm a bit confused because I keep finding more than one part number for the A6M5 Zero . Which one are you building ?

Very impressive! And your detailing would be have been all the more impressive if you had included a coin in the photos (especially those interior shots), to show how small the kit actually is. ;)

Mark, are you sure that is the right wiper motor for that version Zero? You might want to ask Bill Geary. j/k! That is a beautifully built kit, but coming from your bench it's not surprising that it looks so good.

Fantatic looking Zero! Wow! That's small. What is that? 1/72?

Yup, beautiful bird.

Now if nobody minds, I need to excuse myself to go to the nearest corner and fall over laughing...

No doubt it's a real photo. It's the relative scale of the model and the quarter that's suspect... :P

Yeah, that quarter has an inflation problem... :D
To be clear, as mentioned in the WIP, the model has about a 13.5 inch wing span, it's 1/32 scale.
