Since we don't have an ocean in Indiana we take to the sidewalks for summer fun. (If I wasn't so old. LOL ) My '29 Ford Woody and
homemade surf board.

It's that warm, sunny part of the year...oh wait, that's right, England doesn't have that.
That may be why you're not familiar.
Here in New England, it tends to be a bit humid, too at times, although this summer seems to be shaping up to be three months of March/early April.

Looking good.
What's up with the paint on that Charger Junior? I've built a '68 which has cracked under the clear and looks similar!
And while you're all enjoying summer bear us in mind down here please as we slide into winter.
13 degrees C today but it appears to have stopped raining. Strangly identical to Londons current summer weather...
It's a Road Runner not a Charger. The paint is called a spider web job. I did this to replicate a local car from back in the 70's here in Fargo. Pumped gas into it many times at the station I worked for.

Now why should I burn my food in the garden despite I have a fitted kitchen?

101 here today, cooling off to 93 tomorrow.
Christian the grill is a right of passage in the colonies, something about meat, manhood, and alcohol.

If it's summer time, why is that dude standing over a HOT grille and wearing a jacket? HELLO?Feeling a bit nostalgic this year about being away from the West Coast now for almost 25 years of my life, away from the car scene I grew up in and the surfin' scene in Southern Cal, so I am thinking a thread where we can post all things SUMMER would be cool.
Of course, bring on the models, in particular those of you who've done surfing vehicles, but it could also include Dioramas, etc . . .
Can you smell those burgers cooking? It's time to get tanned driving around that topless jalopy on the way to and from the beach . . .
