Nice work. Did you cut out the trunk and hinge it, or did the kit come that way?

Cut opened the trunk hinged it and made the edging ledge around the perimeter...

1965 was a great year for Chevy. My first car was a '65 Chevy II, my first Corvair was a '65 Monza (Dark Green/Fawn!), and your model shows that the big guys were pretty doggone sharp too!

Very nice job. I used to have a 65 Canary yellow convertible w/black top. I have both Revell kits, hardtop and convertible.

Looks great ! Don't see too many 65's being built . The trunk is a real eye catcher and the engine detail is great ( no floating alternator ! ) .

that's very convincing; excellent build. you manage to do with your detailing what some seem to miss; make it look "real", not just "added on". if i could pick at ANYTHING it would be Revell's thin chrome plating, as it seems that during handling of your engine you've worn away the plating on the oil filler cap on the RH valve cover. it could be the lighting making it look that way, though. i like the way you work!

Yes the lighting was not the best and does in fact make it look like the plating is worn away...the chrome is there, none missing....

Stock 1965 Chevy green met with fawn interior .... on the big cars always loved that combo....
