Picked this kit up a couple days ago since my brother has an xtreme, I'm going to build it in the style of his even though the grilles and a couple other things are different, it will be lowered with shaved tailgate and roll pan, I would like to put a pair of 05 corvette rims on it since he wants to put them on his but I don't have any.
Here's his truck

Are you going to modify the grille? I think the grille on the real truck is much better than the kit grille. And do you have a stepside bed for it?

No I'm going to leave the kit as is for the most part, because I'm not building a exact replica I'm just building it in the style of my brothers truck

That's too bad, it would look so much better as a stepside.

I agree it would but I don't have the skill to make it be a stepside

You could use the bed from the 1996 S10 LS Sportside or the '97 F150. They are similar but the F150 bed would probably have to be narrowed.

Not a big update but got the body in primer just waiting for cooler weather before I do the rest of the paint and found a set of wheels and tires in my parts box that look really good and resemble my brothers wheels.
