Thanks ! I need more of a show car look , I think I might use some of the extra stuff from my Raiders Coach kit.It has some nice valve cvers.Revell's 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman has a 618 BBC with cool Pontiac valve covers - I am using one on a 64 GTO project now.
I like the look of the "Monkeemobile" you've got going. Cool work on the taillight panel especially.

Love the taillight panel!Thanks everyone!
Got the taillight area pretty much done now.Just needs some primer and a little more sanding!
Was thinking about adding some trim around the taillights and down into the rear pan ,to make a blacked out panel.

Work on the rear suspension some and got the front down ,still need to cut the rear springs down.

Had to move one wheel well back to line up with the other side.

Thanks for the Ideal, thought of that . But i think the wheel wells will be in the way.I might just mold the hood back in and open it up a little more.if you build a hood hinge assembly that slides forward on rails then tilts like a reverse hinged hood you could put an over-the-top induction system on top of that motor.

Thanks Marshall!Nice work. I've always thought the Monkeemobile always looked too long and over the top. You've done an excellent job making it look good.
I'm just hope not to screw up the hood i'm working on!

You're welcome. Just relax and enjoy building... it seems to help cut down on mistakes.

This is what I'm trying out for the hood.I built it up with plastic and epoxy first.

There will be something sticking out the hood so the scoop will be gone.
