Im building a 66 Chevelle wagon. Is this the gas tank or is it part of the floor? I'm assuming gas tank but I want to make sure.

I asked because I'm building a derby car model and on the 70s gm wagons that's the floor pan. I just didn't know what it was like on the 60s.

Yup, my '74 Chevelle wagon has a dropped floorpan there to accomodate feet when there was a reversed rear seat, and the tank lives in the quarter panel.
