Instead I've been working on other parts. Here's the shot I took of the Sentry Olds car's latch. I'm still kicking myself for not doing what you told me to - take a tape measure with me and measure parts as I take detail pics of the car. I talked to Bruce a few days ago and he's busy going to car shows, so I'm not sure when I can get over there again.

The main line is a #8 size and the return lines are #6 which is basically 1/2" according to the guy on the phone at Enderle. I'm going to attempt to make one. Ted's modeling has good info on making one, too. Those of you who are good at making them, please add your wisdom.

Dave... i am totally digging this build man. I am planning on scratch building one of these barrel valves myself for my vega F/C. not sure how soon I will get to making mine but will try to jump to it soon and show you how I am doing mine. keep up the great work in this build.

very nice job on the coils dave. can't wait to see the arm when it's done. i remember the picture on the cover, of one of the magazines, with the charger and the fake arm on it. totally cool!

Dave- thanks. I have some updates. I found some Simpson decals the right size on a Slixx Nascar goodies sheet for the arm and also see the pic of the arm when it was up for auction recently. Now I just need to dirty it up.

I'm happy with the results. Any comments or ideas are welcome. I also added the front wheels. At some point I want to add the front brake lines but don't know where they run. In the shots I took of the Sentry Olds car, I can see they run somewhere under the chassis. Hopefully I can get back over there when it suits Bruce and get a few more pics.

hey dave, sorry for not seeing your question earlier (again). the brake lines run inside the tube of the lower frame rail.

Do the lines converge at a T and then one line goes into the frame rail and back to the master cylinder? Or do both lines go into the frame? Thanks for your help Dave.

The gaps that you can see in the frame extension were filled in with scrap styrene before painting.

It stuck really good because I used flat white as a base. I also added some upper brackets for the wheelie bars, soon to be added.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your input. Barrel valves are next. My eyes will hopefully survive it. Maybe in 20 years I'll be doing work on your level of skill. I'll only be 78 then !
