Here is my RoG KW W900 with the grain trailer and the spread axle flatbed. Let me know what you think. Yes, I know the air and electrical are in the wrong place. I didn't bother to hook them up to the trailers for pictures.

I like it.The flat bed is great.I like the mud flaps on the truck and the fenders on the trailer

Great job. Did you streach the frame of the W900? Looks linger that mine, but that could also be the camera angle.

Nice job on the flatbed, too; but you might want to strap that load down.

The chassis was stretched Jim. I cut it right behind the rear sleeper mounts and added the rails from a spare chassis that I cut at the front of the front mounts. I'm still looking for the "right" material to use for straps. I know what I want, just can't find it yet. Thanks for the comments.

I know the feeling! Wanting to make straps & chains, but keep them in scale, too. It can be a challenge. Have you tried the sewing department at Wat-Mart, Jo-Ann's, or Michael's?

Thanks everybody. No Jim, I haven't tried there yet. I think ribbon would work, its just finding the right stuff and somehow making the flat hooks.

kfs makes a great set of straps with photoetched hardware, they are fairly inexpensive and it beats running around dept stores looking for something that might work.

I never drove a truck with full fenders, only quarter fenders and mud flaps. I have often wondered if it was a real PITA to change the duals with the full fenders in place. That is a nice looking KW Double Bunk Conventional
