A good friend provided the raw casting and fresh wheels…

Not a true restoration, but I wanted to keep the look and feel of the ‘70s. Once the body casting was smoothed out candy red was shot over a silver basecoat. A coat of fluorescent red and another coat of candy red make it a very hot red-orange color.

Is this one based on a real (concept?) car? It appears to have some Charger III-like styling cues.

That color really works well with the bodylines. :wub:

I'm sure it is a Hot Wheels-ized version of the Charger III. I wish they had just done it as the Charger III...
