Here is a Daf 55 Marathon during the Historique Monte Carlo Rally. Quite de fiddly job in scale 1:43.

This is the original car that entered the rally in 2008.



This is the base model and some new spare parts



The bonnet needs the be mat black

The end is getting closer.

I found a diorama in scale 1:50. It needs to be changed to fit the 1:43 Daf 55 Marathon as the road now is way to narrow.



The car is also nearly ready. Some rally dirt needs to be added.

It looks very nice, (Just like the sign says... ), and I really like Minilites, but it looks like the car in the picture has steel wheels. Did it also run with Minilites?

It depents on the rally. The owner wanted to have the Minilites.

Again, fantastic job!

I'm almost ashamed to say I once owned a DAF like this but a 2 door saloon with that strange conical auto gearbox. I wouldn't have fancied my chances in a rally.
