this is a dirt track car I made from a 64 petty kit, i am new to the site . I love to build petty cars and mopar kits , I will post more pix of other kits I have built.

Allow me to be the first to welcome you Clyde. :) I would love to say "clean build" but that's not really right for such a well done dirt tracker is it. :D Nice build. As you can see i'm a Petty fan myself so I hope to see more of your work.

While I prefer the pre-race lineup look, I gotta say that's a beauty of a build. Is that the Jo-Han?

thankyou for the kind words . I used orange spray paint to over spray that clay dirt look and made my own mesh screen for the front. I have sevral petty kits but wanted to build something different.

i still have one of those boxes.... no Petty Plymouth, just the box. sigh....

great looking build, btw. that really does look like good old red clay....
