I blame Revell (and the late Dave Deal) for the misleading box art!!! Now that I know the answer, it doesn't seem that hard.

Never expect Box Art to be accurate , especially Revell .

Revell '62 Valiant V-200 or Lancer GT?

That or the Lancer GT was my guess, but the DPMCC site shows the intake/exhaust as separate parts. Perhaps a Vega?

It looks like there are six intake runners, so I assume it's from an inline six?

I thought so. Those Tempest 4-bangers were basically V-8's cut in half, which resulted in a uniquely shaped intake manifold. I'll see what I can come up with to post for you guys to identify.

Nice work. The hardtop and convertible are the two kits I know had the slant four. Here is one I have - note the price sticker: 77 cents from Murphy's. no idea what Murphy's is... Wish I could find one for that now.

G. C. Murphy's was a 5 & 10 cent department store chain. There was one in Bellefonte and one in State College, PA, both about 10 miles from here. I remember buying many items, including a model or two from them in the 1960's. Those stores are long gone now.

OK, my turn, I guess. Here's a seat. What kit is it from? NOTE: It's not molded in red - it was painted. It's molded in white.

Good guess, but no. I have the 56 Ford seat, and it does look a lot like this one.
