I thought so. Those Tempest 4-bangers were basically V-8's cut in half, which resulted in a uniquely shaped intake manifold. I'll see what I can come up with to post for you guys to identify.

Nice work. The hardtop and convertible are the two kits I know had the slant four. Here is one I have - note the price sticker: 77 cents from Murphy's. no idea what Murphy's is... Wish I could find one for that now.

G. C. Murphy's was a 5 & 10 cent department store chain. There was one in Bellefonte and one in State College, PA, both about 10 miles from here. I remember buying many items, including a model or two from them in the 1960's. Those stores are long gone now.
