OK, OK, , ,

It's one of the custom grilles from the AMT '61 Ford Galaxie.

I'm really surprised no one's gotten it earlier.

Interesting..would never have thought it was from that kit...I have a couple of those kits, but I tossed the custom parts in the parts box.

If you're up for giving a clue, Steve, is that a front or rear bumper? I assume front since the backsides of the holes are molded closed, but...

It seems pretty straight for a front bumper , but it could be .

I think its a bumper too, maybe from something AMT in the 60's.

Looks like a rear bumper w/ custom center exhaust exits. Maybe a bumper that's been dechromed?

I think it's a rear rollpan with places for exhaust outlets.

Really looks like a middle 60's falcon, but the dpmcc doesnt show that.

Now I'm stumped. Aint a Falcon, nor a Galaxie. That leaves a Fairlane, but I cant find anything like this. Looks very FoMoCo, am I on the right track?

I totally missed the "notch" hint! I thought you meant "a smidge" bigger than a Falcon.

Actually I was looking at Torinos as being bigger than a Falcon too ! That was just a wild guess .

It's the custom front pan. The holes are for driving lights.

That was a tough one:
