That One?

That's a cool box, but not the right one.

It's a hasegawa kit, just not the right version yet....

In spirit of let's-move-on-and-see-more-parts...,

Here is the kit:

Posted Image

The other rally version is the 1970 winner and has minilite style wheels. I hope some people had fun perusing the Internet;). Also, I lied a little - I said the wheels were the only metal parts, but there is also some PE for the grill protector. Hasegawa has made some really neat kits with multi-media enhancements - resin, metal, PE. I can go again or the closest guess?.,,,,,,?!!!,,,

Clue time...

So, we know a few what it's not. It's not a VW, but...it is from the land of kartoffelsalat and schnauzers.

Those 356s actually have much nicer wheels with open lug holes and seperate caps.

Yeah, I thought they might. I just thought I had it pegged as an early Porsche wheel. The number and shape of cooling holes was right. I didn't think RoG would put out a centerless wheel like that!

Sorry I'm late responding to this but sure, I'll give it a shot (Thanks for the opportunity, Steve!). Well guys, what do you think these are from?

Posted Image

I may be late checking in on this every day, since I work until 11 PM and I can't always get online before work. Since it's the weekend, I'll try to look in on it a couple times a day to answer questions and give a hint or two as needed.

FIRST FREEBIE HINT: They're NOT from a Corvair! :) :D :P
