OK, so the year is 1963, not AMT, SMP, or MPC. Means its a Jo-Han, correct? If its Revell, I have no freakin clue........

I don't think it was confirmed that 1963 was the year? I'm still stumped... if it's Revell or Jo-Han I'm probably not going to get it.

Sorry, neither of the two kits with this part is on there... perhaps I went too obscure. Another clue: horsepower got the year right yesterday.
As per Horsepower, its 1963. Is it from a Buick?

Yes, mine was from a '63 Buick - Don got it and we're on a new one now!

OK, it is not from 1963, and it is not from a Buick. It is from a Jo-Han kit.

Beats me - it's none of the ones I have.

Hmm. Maybe this one is too obscure too. The kit that included this part it is from Jo-Han's flat-box era.

Well this thread just died. If its a flat-box Jo-Han must be a Marlin. So, errr, what exactly is the pic were guessing on? This?

I thought that, too, but when I looked at real pics of the Marlin's "trunk" emblem, it had a breaching(?) marlin on it, not a three-pointed thing, so I decided that wasn't it.
Maybe time for another hint, Don?

It is from the Jo-Han 1966 Marlin annual kit. It is a custom piece that fits in the same place the stock trunk emblem goes. You're next.

Looks like some kind of locking fuel filler cap? Um, I'll start off with the JoHan '70 Mark Donohue Javelin.
