It does, doesnt it! It's a lid, or hatch, not actually a fuel filler ( I think ). I don't have the instructions from the kit so I'm going by memory.

Hmm...kind of like short velocity stacks..they remind me of the ones from the MPC '74 Cuda '80s issue which was molded in blue, but there was a version molded in a red/orange, the 'Pro Street' one--I don't recall if that kit had that intake and parts, though.
