The only thing I can think of is the MPC '79 El Camino kits , But I consider them cars not trucks .

No correct guesses yet.

Hint #2: They're neither 1/24 nor 1/25 scale

I tried my best to get a part, photograph it, and upload before work this morning. Didn't happen (it's not easy finding a part that is recognizable, from one issue, and/or not totally obscure!). I was almost late, too. I am camping out all week, so I will pick something out on Friday and post.

Until Eric (or Glenn? Did you get your camera back?) are ready to post by tomorrow, we'll go with this new part:

My camera is missing in action! I expected it yesterday, but the, um, "lovely young lady" who borrowed it has become fond of it.

That manifold looks sorta mopar-ish.

The single four barrel intake from the AMT 68 road runner,69 gtx.or the 70 super bee's. It's a common part between the three kits.
For the non-hemi engines I might add.

This is a tough one, as the intake manifold is specific to only one Mopar engine. It's not from the MPC/AMT '68 or '69 kits, and is not from the 440 big block engines in those kits.

So you're very close, but not quite correct yet.

Without breaking out my kit, that would have been my guess.

Correct. It's the DOHC Hemi intake manifold.

Cool ! I had to dig the kit out of my stash to double check . I knew I'd seen that unusual intake somewhere .
I'll find something to post as quick as I can .
