Has that part been painted and BMF applied?

I will guess the 1/25 Revell Pete 359 wrecker.

Yep, and close, it is from a big truck.

Well, unfortunately, I was hoping that someone would have guessed this before I had to go back to work, but that isn't the case. I let Casey know the answer so he can keep the guessing going and let the right guesser know they are right, so if anyone guesses the part before I get back home from work on my next scheduled days off (Thursday and Friday), everyone playing can keep the game moving. If there are no right guesses until I do get back home, I'll take back over. :)

Well, I'm back home for now and a little sooner than expected thanks to my stomach flu that won't give up!

Since I see there has been no guesses, I will offer up a hint. Casey was right that the part is from a big rig, as I said. The kit is from a foreign manufacturer,  and there are actually a few right answers for a correct kit, since this part is shared through a couple of different variants of the kit this is from.

Nope.

The kit is from a foreign manufacturer, but the truck is American.

Alright, well it's time for me to head off to work again, and hopefully it feels like this stomach flu has finally let go of it's grip, so my next scheduled days off are next Firday and Saturday. I'm hoping that someone will answer by then, but I'm sure Casey can give clues for the origin too. Til next weekend everyone........

Time for a clue I think-- it is an Italeri kit, so Chris was on the right track with his last guess.

Italeri Ford Aeromax

That's correct, since Matthew says they are shared with the 9000 LTL kit, like so:

Your turn, Jerrid.

Thanks for the help while I have been keeping my area Walmarts stocked with their groceries, Casey! :D

As Casey said, the Ford Aeromax from both Italeri and the Revell reboxed issue share everything from the LTL 9000 kit. The only things that were changed between the LTL 9000 and the Aeromax was the updated hood and a different sleeper roof to change the sleeper from the midroof design in the 9000 to a more condo style sleeper for the Aeromax. Other than that, they are all the same kit. I"m just glad Jerrid got it, one of my next clues was going to be to look in my WIP posts!!

At first I was thinking of Roth's Surfite from Revell, because of the cute little "love shack". Or it could be an armored car from around 1967 lol
