When I recieved these I noticed they're quite small. MOST kit tires do not fit them. I realize they weren't made to accept tires, but if you were looking to put tires on them for diorama purposes I found that the rear tires from the Tamiya Toyota Hiace Quick Delivery Van fit them PERFECT.

Hey, I wonder.... If I could find a tire that DID fit one of those if it would make a good donut spare for my 78 Monte Carlo?

I was thinkin they would make great spares too. I've got a Trumpeter 78 Monte and the tires look about the same size, let me check those.

Well the only problem is that tamiya kit is a tad bit expensive,lol,

Yes, but if we could find someone to cast the tires it would eliminate the need to buy the kit just for the tires.

Why not email danny and, run that idea by him. He is a super cool guy. Seems to me that would be something thst would work well in his line up. He may think so as well.
