Just saw this on FB and had to share it here. It looks like the perfect traveling companion. Highly unlikely though that they'd let you bring it on planes with some of our hobby knives and tools . . .

Well, they are asking a hefty price for them . . . which probably says something about the quality of the product.

When I travel I want NOTHING to do with cars or model cars as I get enough of them at home. I've seen people get off the cruise ship in Hawaii and wait for a bus to take them to Walmart. Are they nuts? Why would anybody travel thousands of miles to do what they could do at home?

Nick, true enough for those short vacations you want to enjoy, but if you are going to be away for longer than a couple of weeks, wouldn't the styrene bug catch up with you?

Traveling on business? Maybe. Otherwise, there is too much to see and do when I travel. I will stop by hobby shops of I see one, but I wouldn't sit down and build.

As to air travel. I believe if you agree to have it checked, they'll let you take something like that onboard, as it's out of the cabin.

Seen these on facebook, really cool. I think I'll try a DIY version sometime...gonna need one pretty soon.
