I fitted the firewall to the pan

then added a filler strip as per the 1:1 car. Dont wrap the ends down like I did..leave them loose and it will naturally fill the gap.

then when I added the inner fender strips it decreased the gaps even more.

When I push the pan up and glue it in, the gaps will disappear, hope that helps.
Looking forward to see how yours come out.

Time to start paint and weathering.
Pretty happy the way the chassis turned out.

and the body is good so far. Lots of BMF to do..waiting for my order to arrive...

I am a fan of rust and grime & the aesthetically abandoned automobile. Love the detail, top notch work! The bail on the new master cylinder looks much better. May I have more please Sir?!

The wet greasy grime is a mixture is a mixture of artist oils 'Mars Black" and some scrap booking embossing powder.

Really sharp modeling here. I enjoyed your "imagineering" on the inner door structures. Looks great, looking forward to seeing this old war liner completed.
