The Kalamazoo Scale Modelers will once again be hosting a contest and this year the theme is The Swinging Sixties. We will be at a new venue, so be sure to check out all the information at our website http://www.ipmskalamazoo.org. Look for the 2012 Kontest Tab at the top for Categories, Rules, Entry forms and a map. Vendor tables are still available. There will be a raffle and make and take activities also.

Registration is from 8:30 to 11:30
Judging from 12:30 to 4:00
Awards at 4:30
Vendors from 9:00 to 3:30

Is anybody from here going to attend this show? I am thinking of driving down to check it out. Only 45 minute drive and I have never been to a show before so I am kind of excited. Just wondering what to expect and debating on putting some of my builds in the show. I have never done that before

I am going to go, I just don't know if I will enter the contest. I know that there are going to be dealers there selling kits. That is my main reason for going.

Yeah, I don't think I will enter anything now, but I am still going to check it out especially if there will be dealers selling kits etc.

Was very impressed with the venders this year and the great turn out on that part. I was not over'ly impressed on a couple other issues!
