I just want to give a tip of the hat to all you guys that actualy BUILD plastic model cars! My little buddy came over yesterday so that we could start a new model but this time it was a model car that he had been given, the Johnny Lightning '55 Nomad. I couldn't keep up cleaning the parts of flash so that he could glue them together and then the destruction of the chrome removing the stubs won't be mentioned. The work involved just building this thing out of the box is unbelievable never mind adding anything. I don't remember building a model car being such a chore.
Again, my hat's off to all you guys that turn out the fantastic looking builds that you do!
A new appreciation...

Thank god most kits are in much better shape than your nomad was. I've had a few like that and it's a real pain. All we can do is move forward Keep the faith

All the hallmarks of the RC2 molding "quality."
I understand the recent Round 2 molding was a far sight better.
