I uploaded a new How-To video, on spraying Alclad II Chrome.
http://www.modelcarsmag.com/wp/how-to/
I will be uploading and doing more video how-to's in the near future.
It's a start, and I'm still learning along the way.
There is a major backend glitch with the site, I hope to get that cleared up soon.

I haven't used alclad yet and I noticed your using it straight from the bottle,Does it come premixed for airbrush or is it something you cut down?

I have always wondered why I was getting such inconsistent results spraying Alclad II Chrome.
I was giving up on it.
But, I went through ALL of his video's and there it was, hidden in one of the last videos.
It comes ready to spray straight out of the bottle.
After these great results, I will be redoing the color base tests this weekend.
Also, low pressure is a must, 12-15 psi, at the most.
My Alclad article should be in the next issue of MCM, and I will post that final one when it pau

I will be doing the color variations this week.
I have used a dark blue before, but everything has been thrown out the window with that new "angle" of shooting Alclad!!!!
That was punny....

I'm not sure if the Alclad would bite on the bare plastic
Probably have to wash it, Donn Yost, our paint guru, recommend the blue Dawn Dishwashing soap.

I think I could make a very simple tutorial for your approval, but I'm on Mac and I would guess that 90% of our members are PC, which I don't know at all. I wouldn't want to do anything that wasn't totally cross-platform.
And no sooner have I posted this than the following new thread appears...

I've never tried using Alclad, but am going to in the future.
This video will help a bunch.
