Here's a quick list of the 1/25 Chevy (and one GMC) van kit released by Revell over the years, in no particular order: http://modelkitrevie...gmc-custom-vans

These kits are look great when built, however I wish they would have done a better job with how the interior tub attaches to the body.

I remember building that California Cruiser van after reading about it in Car Craft. I sooooooooooo wanted my folks to buy a van so we could customize it. For some reason my parents brought home a Ford wagon with woodside paneling instead! :D

Thanks for the history lesson Casey!

Interesting how some of them appear to have 'chevyvan20' badging on the front fenders and some have 'van20' badging...

That's what I was thinking, even more so when the two versions of the Convoy Van appear to be one of each looking at the box arts.

You could always open one and sell me the other!

I've got the Husky Hauler but missing the matching Quicksand version.

I open all of mine, factory seals last seconds at my place.

You'd be amazed how many factory sealed kits are damaged inside due to things like the tyres melting into windscreens etc. I open mine and make sure they're packed safely.

I'll get them all one day, just picking them off one at a time..............

Thanks for the history lesson Casey. After reading this thread I got inspired to get out my 70's Custom Van and start working on it again. It seems to me that this kit is a little large or the MPC Dodge that I just finished is a little small. Here they are side by side. The Dodge is a long wheelbase and the Chevy is a shorty.

Any facts?

The Mexican van is the snap together in 1/32 and still a very cool kit to have! I must have build a dozen of them when I was a kid!!
